We're so very happy to be part of your stay in beautiful Elora!  At the Flying Leap, we hope that you find comfort, relaxation and everything you need to unwind and recharge.

At a glance, we offer:

-an excellent location

-old world charm:  a century home with high ceilings, original features throughout and a colorful history

-clean, airy, climate controlled rooms

-hospitality and help planning your days

-sitting areas for larger groups

-free wifi

-full, hot breakfasts every morning

-reasonable rates, with breakfasts a $15/person value (compared to local restaurant rates)

All our rooms have ensuite bathrooms, while central heating and air conditioning keep every room at an optimal temperature any time of year. We aim for comfort, so our sheets and towels are soft and we hunted for good quality fibers (mostly cottons) for you to enjoy.  Shampoo, body wash, hair-dryer, etc... are supplied, while a vessel of water and drinking glasses are also provided.  We've learned from our own stays in B&Bs and so each room has lots of hooks, shelves, etc... for you to arrange your clothing and toiletries.  Feel free to use our WIFI, and we offer a 100% smoke-free environment.

As a true bed and breakfast, we live onsite and of course welcome you upon your arrival with a tour of the house and assistance in planning your stay. Throughout your visit, we are here to help if you have any questions or issues.

Please note: all guests have access to the parlour, dining room (with its mini fridge, coffee machine, etc..), sunroom and balcony.

We have 4 rooms for you to choose from:

The Meadow

Our favorite room, the relaxing decor was inspired by the idea of dozing in a sunny meadow.  Roll around in this comfortable queen sized bed while the tempting aromas waft up from the kitchen and birdsong drifts in from the bayelegant room with queen bed windows overlooking David Street, beautifully manicured Rosemont Cottage (c1865) and, further on, St. Mary's Church.

A sitting area that's bathed in the afternoon sun offers 2 comfortable antique chairs with a beautiful matching table so you can enjoy sipping a second or third cup in your room or playing a hand of cards while the ceiling fan offers a cool breeze.

A unique feature to this room is the porcelain bowl sink located in the bedroom, making getting ready in the mornings that much easier, while your bathroom has a beautiful enclosed terrazzo shower.

$140/night if booking more than one night

(Please note: no additional taxes or fees)

A spacious chest of drawers is ready to accommodate your things and please feel free to browse the books in the bookcase.

Creature Comfort

Our most spacious and elegant room, it's all about getting cozy!  A huge king sized bed invites you into the room,
Luxury room with king bed

but there's also a sunny sitting area for two with softly upholstered chairs and a table, surrounded by tall bay windows from which you can overlook the front gardens along Geddes Street.

There's a large chest of drawers for your belongings, where you'll also find extra blankets for those wintery months.  Enjoy browsing the books in the bookcase and also feel free to use the empty shelves to arrange your things.

The generous ensuite bathroom is elegant in black, gray and white and offers two separate pedestal sinks, a glass-enclosed marble-tiled showerclaw-foot vintage bathtub and a huge, vintage refinished cast iron claw-foot bathtub, perfect for soaking!  Enjoy!

Little Creek

The smallest but our brightest room, the two single beds are perfect for friends traveling together.

Inspired by the gorge's rushing waters, our "Little Creek" is decorated in refreshing blues and whites and welcomes you to a rejuvenating sleep after spending the day fly-fishing, hiking,  sightseeing or shopping, or however your day blossomed!

The ensuite bathroom has a wall-mounted sink and enclosed shower and actually has a heated floor, making this a popular winter choice!  While preparing for bed, you can admire the stunning beauty of local waterfalls captured by photographer Carl Chalupa

Fox Wood

Our quietest at the end of the hallway, may we entice you with this room?  Our Fox Wood is designed to offer greater living space for our guests, with a sitting area for two that's just right for playing a game or using your laptop.

The large closet with a hanging organizer will help you spread out your belongings and additional space for your items is available in the book case.

Enjoy using the contoured bathtub to soak well-used muscles after hiking the Cataract Trail or tubing down the Elora Gorge.

Then sit back in the comfortable cane-back upholstered chairs to read your favorite author or play a game of cards.

For the perfect night sleep, curl up in the European-style king-sized bed:  two separate, single-sized mattresses and sheets, etc... for greater individual comfort!
